TerraSurf is proud to introduce our first Artist Series collaboration: a limited edition board conceived with DANKO, the painter whose work sits at the precise and electric intersection of graphic intensity and photographic realism. His canvases are known for their velocity — color that doesn't decorate a subject so much as detonate around it, while the subject itself holds with uncanny, almost unsettling clarity. To stand in front of a DANKO painting is to feel the tension between chaos and control, between the wild surface and the stillness underneath.
It is, in other words, exactly what a wave feels like.
Each board in this series begins where every TerraSurf board begins: with hand-harvested agave fiber, shaped by a named PNW craftsman, glassed in our 65% plant-based non-VOC bio-resin. What DANKO brings to that foundation is original artwork applied in plant-based paints — no solvents, no synthetic chemistry — directly onto the board's surface. No print. No transfer. No reproduction. Each piece is painted by hand, one board at a time, and will never be made again.
There are no two alike. There is no second edition. When the series is gone, it is gone.
